Our Senior herd is made up of donkeys that are at least 25 years old. In this setting life is a little slower and a little less competitive. Our Grand Dam is Grandma, the 49 year old jennet with a heart of gold and a love of everyone. The members of our Senior Herd are all permanent residents. They have special dietary needs and require additional supplements to keep them healthy and happy. So many donkeys live longer than their owners and end up in dire situations in their most vulnerable years. Peaceful Valley’s Senior Herd has over 30 permanent residents.
