The Peaceful Valley Difference
Peaceful Valley has never followed the path taken by others, we have always gone our own way. This has not always endeared us to other rescue organizations but in the end, we have rescued more donkeys than all other rescues combined.
At Peaceful Valley, our goal is to Improve the Plight of the American Donkey. We do this by never turning a blind eye to a donkey in need because it is out of our area, or too costly, or too big a project. If one donkey's life is worth saving, then all donkeys are worth saving.

- PVDR manages its own wild burro capture programs on Federal, State and Private lands.

- PVDR has a medical research facility that provides insight into donkey nutrition and parasite control.
- PVDR distribute thousands of Care & Feeding Manuals each year to donkey owners worldwide to ensure that the donkeys are getting the proper care that they need.
- PVDR is able to rescue donkeys from any situation and from any location in the continental United States.
- PVDR manages herds on gazing leases, reducing our feed costs and giving our wild residents a better sense of freedom.
