Always in a Panic?
It seems that most animal rescues are always in a financial panic and desperately need your help. Peaceful Valley never uses these tactics as we feel that an animal rescue should be more fiscally responsible. Sound business practices are always in the best interests of the animals.
As a result of PVDR not using Panic Fundraising, it puts us at a disadvantage. Many donors are motivated by the urgent pleas and might feel that because Peaceful Valley is more responsible that perhaps we do not need the donations.
Nothing could be further from the trusht. Money is what makes the world go 'round and it definitely is needed to save donkeys. Peaceful Valley has rescued 142 so far in 2009. This number of our year to date rescues exceeds the total number of donkeys most other rescues have saved in their entire existence.
Peaceful Valley is doing the lion's share of donkey rescue work in the United States, we hope that you will consider this when asked for another "Emergency Donation".
