Mission
Peaceful Valley's Wild Animal Refuge (WAR) is on a mission to locate, take in and give permanent safe sanction to exotic and wild animals. We receive animals in a variety of ways, including: the exotic pet trade, law enforcement confiscations, the entertainment industry, and pet owners that are in over their head.
Exotic animals suffer from a wide variety of abuse, neglect, abandonment and poorly trained owners. Many of these animals have special needs and requirements that their owners are unwilling or unable to provide. Therefore, a large part of WAR's mission is to educate the public on proper care and environment for each and every type of animal.
