Volunteer
TBR Volunteers are needed in Miles! As a volunteer you will
Work with wild burros to help socialize them.
Walk and brush the friendly burros to prepare them for adoption.
Feed, water and clean up after the burros.
Help build the new ranch.
No experience necessary, we will train you!

Satellite Adoption Center
TBR is currently seeking
individuals who have the time and resources to host a Satellite
Adoption Center. These SAC's are usually placed in areas where
quality homes can be found for our burros. An SAC operator
agrees to care for as many as six TBR Burros and handle all of our
adoption procedures. TBR covers all associated feed and
medical costs, you supply the time, labor and love.

Gentling Center
TBR Gentling Centers host 3-6 burros at any time. While in your care, you will work on gentling the burros and increasing their socialization skills. Once gentled, the burros will be relocated to one of our adoption facilities. Please contact mark@texasburros.org for more information.
Sanctuary
Many of the burros in our care will not ever become friendly enough to be placed in adoptive homes. These burros, many of them are older males, would be much happier if they could live out their lives with as little intervention as possible. TBR is seeking no and low cost grazing leases on private land. please contact mark@texasburros.org for more information.
